1) Purpose, Scope & Hierarchy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how Syncrova Technologies L.L.C (“Syncrova”, “we”, “our”, “us”) manages cancellations, refunds, credits, and service termination across all digital and IT solutions purchased via our website or official sales channels. It applies to hosting, cloud, domain registration, SSL, web/mobile development, maintenance, licenses, and professional services. In case of conflict with a signed MSA, SLA, or Order, that document will prevail.

 

2) General Eligibility & Process

To request a refund or cancellation, clients must email support@syncrovatech.com or submit a Client Portal ticket including service ID, invoice number, activation date, and reason. Verification of identity (KYC/AML) may be required. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10–15 business days. Bank fees, payment gateway charges, and third-party costs are non-refundable.

 

3) Domains (Registration, Transfer & Renewal)

ADomain registrations, transfers, and renewals are non-refundable once submitted to the registry. For .AE domains, cancellations within 72 hours may be refunded minus AED 10 admin fee. Clients are responsible for accurate domain data and configurations. Domain services follow ICANN and registry rules, which override local practices.

 

4) SSL/TLS Certificates

SSL certificates are non-refundable once issued. If an error occurs due to our team or the Certificate Authority and is reported within 7 days, re-issuance or store credit may be offered. Client-side validation failures are not refundable.

 

5) Hosting, VPS & Cloud Services

New accounts are eligible for a 30-day money-back guarantee on base hosting plan fees only. Excluded: domain, SSL, licenses, setup, or metered usage. After 30 days, no refunds are provided; however, pro-rata store credits may apply for unused prepaid services. Renewals are non-refundable once the billing cycle begins. Clients are responsible for backups unless a paid backup service is subscribed. Suspensions due to AUP violations or legal breaches are not eligible for refunds.

 

6) Website & Mobile App Development; Maintenance & Support

Before project initiation, refunds are provided minus admin and third-party fees. Once work begins, partial refunds may apply depending on the completed work. Delivered milestones or completed projects are non-refundable. Delays caused by client-side inputs or approvals exceeding 10 business days may result in project pause or closure without refund. Change requests are handled via a Change Order; prior payments remain final..

 

7) Licenses, Add-ons & Email Suites

Activated licenses such as cPanel, Plesk, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or premium plugins are non-refundable. Add-ons auto-renew with the main service unless canceled 3 days before renewal.

 

8) SLA Credits vs Refunds (Uptime & Performance)

Service Credits apply for verified unplanned downtime, not cash refunds. SLA claims must be submitted within 7 days with logs and proof. Credits are capped at the monthly service fee. Scheduled maintenance, DDoS attacks, third-party issues, or force majeure are excluded.

 

9) Cancellations, Offboarding & Data Handling

Cancellations must be initiated via a registered email or Client Portal. Clients can choose 'Immediate' or 'End of Cycle' termination. Data exports are provided once within 5 business days subject to cleared dues. Data is deleted 30 days post-termination unless retention is required by law. Data destruction certificates can be requested (additional charges may apply).

 

10) Payments, VAT & Credit Notes

All prices exclude UAE VAT unless stated. VAT is applied per UAE FTA laws. For approved adjustments, a tax credit note will be issued. Late payments may incur penalties and suspension after 7 days. Chargebacks without communication cause suspension and an administrative reinstatement fee. For bundle deals, non-refundable components (e.g., free domains) may be deducted from any refund.

 

11) No-Refund Situations

Refunds are not issued for: change of mind, unused services, client misconfiguration, AUP violations, external network failures, force majeure, or trial/promotional credits. Services suspended or terminated for abuse, spam, or hacking are strictly non-refundable.

 

12) Compliance, Audit & Law Enforcement

Syncrova complies with UAE regulatory requirements. We may preserve or disclose client data under legal or regulatory requests, maintaining confidentiality to the maximum extent permitted by law.

 

13) Amendments & Notifications

This Policy may be updated periodically. Major changes will be announced on the website or Client Portal. Continued use of services after changes implies acceptance. If translated, the English version shall prevail.

 

14) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts unless an alternative dispute resolution (e.g., arbitration) is mutually agreed in writing.
